GROUP FITNESS CLASSES

 

BARRE

Barre is a fun and energetic workout which derives from ballet, pilates, dance and yoga. This style of workout uses mostly bodyweight exercises to create a strong sense of lengthening and toning throughout your body with the help of small hand held weights and the occasional piece of equipment to add some extra resistance. It may be low impact but prepared to sweat!

Benefits include: strength, encourages fat loss, mobility, balance, increased endurance and flexibility which are all transferable to your day to day tasks.

 

STRENGTH

Strength is our version of a circuit class suited to women who are looking to build lean muscle and lose weight.

Suitable for women of every age and ability, Strength will allow you to work to your level and can accomodate you, however it is a higher intensity class than barre so you must prepare to put in the work!

You will be introduced to a range of equipment, weights and training styles designed to work your muscles and encourage fat loss. You will be closely guided through all of these exercises by a personal trainer to make sure that form is correct and that you are conducting the exercises to

PRENATAL

We currently have no specific prenatal classes on the timetable in 2022, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t still join us!

Our regular barre classes are still suitable and safe for you to take part in as Chrissy is trained in working with pregnant women and can easily make any modifications within the class to support you.
